Default Changes in Oregon for 2010

I just got word there are a couple new things required as of 2010 in Oregon. One deals with a new consumer notice handout and the other is a required phrase on the front page of the report that reminds people the only one who can use the report is the one who contcracted for it.

CCBLog | Changes required in the Home Inspection contract

Here's the info from the state. The part about the notice is at best poorly worded. Basically, the SOPs and old consumer notice are out and the new noitcie is all that's required (at least that's the way it was explained to me and seems to be what is hinted at in the link above).

I have a small problem with the required text on the report. The terms purchaser of the report and person who contracted for the report are used someone interchangebly and don't always mean the same thing. I wish it just said 'person who contracted' throughout. Since often times the person who pays is not the same as the one who signs the agreement (bill to closing, agent pays, parents pay, etc.)
