    Default Number of Spares in New Service Installation

    I can't seem to find the reference, as I am in the process of moving to FL, but can anyone cite the code requirement for the number of spares in a new service installation. I think that it was a percentage, but can't find it. If you can include the code reference it would be great. Thanks.

    The NEC does not require any spares or space for additional circuits.

    All answers based on unamended National Electrical codes.
